Disability Does Not matters for George Gallego

Well to think of participating in triathlon is no kid’s play and indeed requires a lot of determination and stamina to proceed in the three consecutive rounds of swimming, riding and running. But there is one American named George Gallego who has made a mark in the arena. He is a handicap and remains on wheelchair and it were only after the accident where he received the spinal injury that he played triathlon and stood 2nd in his category. This opened the doors for him to play for America in its national triathlon team, where he performed wonders for the nation and won more than 30 recognitions across the globe.

In the present time he owns two organizations named “wheels of progress” and “the axis project”, where he works as a mentor and along with his team make the patients feel easy and normal. These are the people who have acquired disability from an accident and as a result have lost the confidence to live life to the fullest. They are made to participate in different activities and events where they are made strong and a sense if life rejuvenates in them all and live happily once discharged.
